NEW DELHI, Jun 23 (PRIME) -- India is still paying for Russian oil in U.S. dollars, Indian Oil Minister Hardeep Singh Puri told reporters on Thursday.

“The trade is going on as usual. It is going on U.S. dollars and it is normal, there are no special agreements,” he said.

Indian Express reported earlier quoting Kpler research company that India imported more than 388,600 barrels of Russian oil per day in April, more than 840,000 barrels per day in May, and may import 1.05 million barrels per day in June.
